Product Description

by D. L. Smoot (Author)

The Resillant, as Rose would say, are those who have a certain stubbornness about them, refusing to give up regardless of circumstance, and are able to victoriously overcome obstacles. The Resillant is about two close-knit families within a close-knit community who find themselves in a tragic circumstance. The families fall apart, but after a time, they are reunited. All seems well, with the exception of this one thing about Myles regarding Kenya: both possess that same stubbornness, and they become embattled in the end, one by emotions of the past and the other a tireless effort to secure the future.

Author Biography

Growing up in a small town, and a community with barely any neighbors in sight, really gives you a vivid imagination. I grew up in Scooba, MS. And while there weren't many neighbors in sight, I was never bored being the youngest of thirteen. One of our favorite family past times was story-telling. We'd tell our dreams and made them vivid and entertaining. I am a single, hardworking, mother, of a beautiful and intelligent young lady. I am a veteran, and now first time author, who is anxiously ready and waiting to share those imaginations and dreams with you.
