Author Biography
Taelin was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon in Canada's north. At 13 years of age, he was hopelessly ensnared with the mystique of martial arts. And after leaving high school, set out on an adventure to learn more of the martial arts, understand himself and experience the world.
Leading a gypsy lifestyle, he had a variety of adventures too strange to write about, even though they're funny in a sad sort of way. He has traveled most of Canada and the United States by train, plane, automobile, motorcycle and hitch-hiking. Taelin enjoys writing, teaching, painting, exercise, the outdoor pursuits, and of course martial arts.
Taelin has lived the inner journey for over 30 years in the martial field and spirituality. His personal research and experience in the 'mindbody' connection, encompasses quantum physics, neuro biology and the nature of consciousness. The many books, videos, seminars, workshops, retreats, events and spiritual travels in Mexico, Australia, South Africa, Spain, France, Germany, England and the United States have inspired him to write of this illusive, natural ability we all have to focus. By demystifying the riddle of consciousness and the mindbody connection, a new view of potential becomes available for everyone.
Taelin teaches the art of focus and personal growth to non-martial artists and martial artists a-like. His dream is to inspire people to experience more of life - to experience all their dreams, goals and ideals. And have more. Taelin travels often and currently lives in Whitehorse, Yukon.
