Author Biography
Rev. Les Wicker grew up in North Carolina. After graduating from Greensboro College, he attended The Divinity School of Duke University and later received an PhD in family studies from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has served churches in North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Florida. He and his wife, Phyllis, have two sons, Robin and Dale, who along with their families, live in Florida and North Carolina. Dr. Wicker is the author of Preparing Couples for Marriage, and The Fundraising Guidebook for Benefit Golf Tournaments. He has led numerous seminars on church growth and marketing.
