Author Biography
Debbie Wright is a single mom of five young adult children. As the kids headed off to college, they had their share of car trouble. The only way she knew how to help was to ask a male friend and relay that information to her kids. Debbie worked at many jobs over the years eventually ending up at an auto repair shop. It was while working there that Debbie decided that she should buy her own shop. At that time she did not know of any other women in auto care, even though women made up half of the auto repair service buyers. In January 2013 she bought an auto repair shop in San Diego. It has been her mission to educate women and kids, including her own, on how to take care of the cars. This book represents the answers to the questions that women consumers have asked of her. Keep this book in your glove box and refer to it as needed. She would love to hear any questions or comments you may have. debbie@theautogirl.com
