One of the best modern product designs ever to come out of a small developing country, and a major advance in international modern art with cultural, personal, and regional influences all synthesized to produce a masterpiece. It is a single line drawn in space as the essence of the design, like Eero Saarinen's St.Louis Arch. It was years ahead of its time. Although prototypes were made in Barbados and Denmark in the 1990s, the design remained mainly dormant until 2011 when it became active again due to the interest of a manufacturer in Ningbo China, who expressed an interest in producing and produced a few prototypes in 2011 and 2012. Such "South-South" cooperation in the future is destined to bring major advances in world art, as creativity from the new economies, small states, and newcomers to the global art and design/industrial design genre, take center stage.
