This journal contains many prompts to help you practice shadow work, by appealing to different situations from your past or present days. Please be honest and open to yourself. The concept of "shadow work" is centered around the "shadow self". It is the part of ourselves that we see as dark and diabolic. It is the demon inside of us. We often feel ashamed, insecure, or even frustrated about this shadow self of ours. Therefore, we try to push it away by burying it inside. The notion of "shadow self" is firstly presented by Swiss psychologist "Carl Jung" after he spent years of human personality studying. The shadow self manifests in many ways under many circumstances. For instance, we see its manifestation clearly when we feel intrigued by other people's actions or words.
