Author Biography
Gina has been a GP in Luton, England since 1983, and also spent eleven years as a Clinical Assistant in Paediatrics. Since 1997 she has designed and presented educational courses for nurses in the management of minor illness. With her colleague, Ian Hill-Smith, she developed the National Minor Illness Centre, which offers diploma courses accredited by the Royal College of Nursing. Gina and Ian are joint editors of the best-selling Minor Illness Manual, now in its fourth edition. They write and present face-to-face and e-learning courses on minor illness for health visitors, nurses, pharmacists and paramedics.
