Product Description

by David Voth (Author)

The wild Haines Highway of Alaska, across from Porcupine Creek of the hit series Gold Rush Alaska, is where each unforgettable tale shared by local David Voth unfolds. Secret knowledge, murder mysteries, love, death, afterlife, moonshine, and the end of the world await you, all vividly described to give the feel of Alaska few dare to experience. Each story captured the annual first place prize at the Alaska State Fair SE for the year it was written. So leave your fears "down there" in the lower 48 and take a ride on the Haines Highway. It will be a trip you won't soon forget

Author Biography

David Voth is a nurse and high school teacher in Alaska. In his spare time he chops wood, makes Thimbleberry wine, and plays in the forest that surrounds his Mosquito Lake home on all sides. Mr. Voth assures us that true life satisfaction is obtained from watching the fire in his wood stove burn throughout the seemingly endless Alaskan winter nights while he is securely buried in his house by feet of snow and ice. What else could a a man want?
