Product Description

by Dale Page (Author)

From the dusty Chisholm Trail in Oklahoma Territory to the aspen-clad Benson Canyon of southern New Mexico, these original poems tell of the grit, skills, humor, and integrity of the American cowboy. Written over a span of two decades, they are a glimpse into a lifestyle which came about as necessity but has evolved into one of choice. The stories in this book, written in rhyme and meter, will give you glimpses of the men and women who lived in, died in, and changed the American West into what it has become today.
