Author Biography

Patricia Hegarty began working in children's publishing more years ago than she cares to remember! As an editor she has worked on titles ranging from atlases to animal pop-ups, craft kits to crazy mazes, and sticker books to secret diaries.

Bryony loves making pictures of magical worlds and quirky creatures for children. She especially loves drawing night-time scenes. Her studio is in the beautiful city of Oxford, where she can usually be found sketching away and covered in paint, with her Wheaten Terrier asleep on her feet.
