Author Biography
Tolanda Chenise Hughes, born December 10, 1977 is a self-made Mom-trepreneur, best-selling author, certified Wellness and Personal Development Mentor and Licensed Cosmetologist. For over 17 years she has been in the beauty industry, servicing clients, owning and managing saIons. In 2017, she discovered that although she loved making women feel beautiful, she knew that her purpose was on a larger scale. Once Tolanda puts words in her mouth or writes something down, she says she has to be ready for it because the opportunity will soon follow. After doing some research, she started to put all the pieces together that would give her that platform to reach that bigger audience. She founded the Beauti Butterfli Evolution, a women empowerment online organization that gives women an outlet and the resources they need to reach their maximum potential. Empowering women in the areas of personal development, wellness and entrepreneurship is Tolandas drive for success. She has been down the road of despair and understands the need for the support of other powerful women in order to get help to thrive. We are all one soul but we are nothing if our soul is shattered. Through her tragic and blissful story, she hopes that others will find a way to their true form of love, peace, joy and freedom.
