Product Description

by Andrew John Hamling (Author)

The third in the series of Bethany Gallagher detective novels in which Gallagher is drawn into the world of crown green bowls. When Barbara Hitchcock engages Gallagher to find out if her husband is cheating on her, it seems like another routine case for the private investigator - until John Hitchcock's body turns up on King's Meadow's bowling green. Was he having an affair and is it linked to his death? Suspicion falls on members of his bowls team, but who could possibly have a motive for killing him? As Gallagher probes deeper, secrets surface and it becomes clear that none of the team has cause to lament his demise. It takes all of Gallagher's ingenuity - and a little help from the affable D.S. Danny Wainwright - to unmask the killer, leading to a race against time in a thrilling denouement
