Product Description
by Paulo Cachim (Author)
In 2014 I spent 40 days in Montenegro. The first time was in February and I went to Zabljak, the second time was around April-May and I stayed in Podgorica. Despite being a very small country, Montenegro has an incredible variety of landscapes. Mountains, beaches, canyons, lakes, fjord, there is always something for everyone. Travelling around Montenegro by car, by bus, by train or simply on foot, offered me the opportunity to take a few hundreds of photos. Forty of those photos are displayed here. A scent of Montenegro.
Author Biography
I was born in Ilhavo, Portugal, in 1968. A small town by the sea, a town of sailors. The ocean, the sky, have always been in my dreams. I'm a Civil Engineer. I'm a professor of Civil Engineering at University of Aveiro. Teach, research, design, management. Structural design. Concrete, timber, equations, finite elements. I believe in poetry. Poetry can be everywhere. In poems, in images, in music, in sculpture, in nature, but also in gestures, in people, in numbers, in equations. It can be wherever we can see beauty. And for that, we just need the right eyes. I love to take photos. They can distort reality and show a personal perspective of the world.
