Author Biography
Phil Peretz is a business owner and entrepreneur who has spent his entire life in business. At 14, he was a freelance photographer for the Oakland Times and a restaurant manager in the Rockridge district in Oakland at 16. Out of school, his professional career starting off in advertising as a classified advertising manager for a series of weekly papers, then as an art director, retail operations manager, sales manager and VP of sales in both the printing and high tech industries. 9 years of his career was with Kinko's where he started off as a very successful sales rep for the Berkeley, CA territory and went on to be promoted to Regional Sales Manager, Director of Sales and then Regional Sales VP. Peretz currently lives in Reno Nevada where he and his wife, Catherine Young-Peretz, own Media Media Inc. and is co-owner of Nationwide Barcode. Throughout his career, Peretz has been responsible for the interviewing and hiring of several hundred employees. He brings his personal experiences to life with this book in the hopes of coaching people to find the career they desire.
