Matthieu Pinon is a former maths and physics teacher who has been writing about Japanese pop culture in magazines since 1998. He enjoys presenting facets of Japanese life to the wider world to help others understand the customs of a country they may be unfamiliar with.
Philippe Bunel is credited as a contributor to a book about the Studio Ghibli founder, Hayao Miyazaki (Shades of a Work).
