### Author Biography

**Anne Marie Houppert** is a senior librarian at the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine in Washington, DC. She has published articles in industry journals and authored a blog for _National Geographic_ called _NG Revisited_. _What About X?_ is her first picture book. She lives in Rockville, Maryland.

**Daniel Wiseman** is the illustrator of many picture books and board books, including _Rad!_ and _When Your Lion Needs a Bath._ He lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his family.
