### Author Biography

**C駸ar Cuauht駑oc Garc? Hern疣dez** is the Gregory H. Williams Chair in Civil Rights and Civil Liberties at the Ohio State University Mortiz College of Law and an immigration lawyer. He has appeared in the _New York Times_, the _Wall Street Journal_, NPR, _The Guardian_, and many other venues. The author of _Crimmigration Law_ as well as _Migrating to Prison_ and _Welcome the Wretched_ (both published by The New Press), he lives in Denver, Colorado.
