### Author Biography

Mo Willems, a _New York Times_ #1 best-selling author and illustrator, has been awarded a Caldecott Honor on three occasions, for _Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!_, _Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale_, and _Knuffle Bunny Too: A Case of Mistaken Identity_. His celebrated Elephant & Piggie series has won two Theodor Seuss Geisel Medals and five Geisel Honors. Other favorites include _Leonardo, the Terrible Monster_ and _The Story of Diva and Flea_.  
Mo began his career as a writer and animator on _Sesame Street,_ where he garnered six Emmy Awards. He lives with his family in Massachusetts.
