Krista Franklin is a writer and visual artist whose work has appeared in _Poetry_, _The_ _Offing_, _Black Camera_, _Copper Nickel_, _Callaloo_, _BOMB Magazine_, _Encyclopedia_, _Vol. F-__K_ and _L-Z_, and the anthologies _The End of Chiraq: A Literary Mixtape_, _The BreakBeat_ _Poets: New American Poetry in the Age of Hip-Hop_ and _Gathering Ground_. Her chapbook of poems, _Study of Love & Black Body_, was published by Willow Books in 2012.
