### Author Biography

**JULIE MORSTAD** is an award-winning author and illustrator. She has written the picture books _Today_ and the Governor General's Literary Award finalist _How To_. Her beautiful illustrations can be found in numerous books such as _It Began With a Page: How Gyo Fujikawa Drew the Way_; _Julia, Child_; _This Is Sadie_ and, most recently, _Girl on a Motorcycle_. In 2018 she designed a permanent stamp for Canada Post. Julie lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, with her family.
