### Author Biography

Phillis Gershator has written many picture books for children, including _When It Starts to Snow_ (Henry Holt), _Listen, Listen_ (Barefoot Books), and _Time for a Hug_ (Sterling). Phillis worked as a children's librarian for the Brooklyn Public Library and the St. Thomas/St. John Department of Education. David Walker is the illustrator of numerous children's books, including _Before You Were Mine_ (Putnam), _Time for a Hug_ (Sterling), and _Bears on Chairs_ (Candlewick) to name a few.
