**Jillian Tamaki** is an illustrator and comics artist best known for her graphic novels _Skim_, which was named a _New York Times_ Best Illustrated, and _This One Summer_, both cocreated with Mariko Tamaki. _This One Summer_ was awarded a Caldecott Honor, Printz Honor, and Eisner Award.
