**Abby Beall** is a features editor at _New Scientist_ magazine and a freelance science journalist, published by print and online publications including _New Scientist, Astronomy Now, Daily Mail Online, EU Horizon,_ and _BBC Focus_. Abby holds a physics (MPhys) degree from Durham University and a Science Journalism MA from City University, London. Her first book, _The Art of Urban Astronomy_ was published by Trapeze Books in 2019.

**Dawn Cooper** is an illustrator whose work includes nonfiction books for children, book covers, maps, and packaging, all heavily inspired by the natural world. Dawn graduated from Bath School of Art & Design with a first class degree in Graphic Communication.
