### Author Biography

**Eila Mell** is the author of _Designing Broadway_ as well as the official guide to the hit television series _Project Runaway_, titled _Project Runway: The Show That Changed Fashion_. Among her other books are _New York Fashion Week_ and, with Ty Hunter, _Makeover from Within: Lessons in Hardship, Acceptance, and Self-Discovery_. Mell has been featured in the _New York Times_, _Marie Claire_, _Glamour_, and CBS's _The Insider_, as well as in the documentary _Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's_. She is the co-host of the podcast _Jiffy Pop Culture_ with comedian Frank Liotti.

**The American Theatre Wing** is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting excellence and education in theatre.
