### Author Biography

**Tom Scheerer** began his decorating career in the mid-1980s after graduating from Cooper Union with a degree in architecture. He formed his own firm in 1995. He is the subject of _Tom Scheerer Decorates_ and the author of _Tom Scheerer: More Decorating_. His work is regularly featured in _Architectural Digest, Town & Country, House Beautiful,_ and _Elle Decor_. He is named annually to the AD100 list of top interior designers. He divides his time between New York, Paris, and Harbour Island.

**Mimi Read** is the author of _Tom Scheerer Decorates._ She writes about architecture and design for the _New York Times, Chicago Tribune, The New Yorker, House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Food & Wine, Travel & Leisure,_ and many other publications. She lives in New Orleans.

**Francesco Lagnese** is an internationally acclaimed interiors and travel photographer whose work appears regularly in _Condé Nast Traveler,_ US, UK, and Italy, _Vanity Fair, House Beautiful, Town & Country, Town & Country Travel,_ and _Architectural Digest._ He lives in Germany.
