### Author Biography

**Ali Benjamin** is a National Book Award Finalist for _The Thing About Jellyfish_, and the co-writer for HIV-positive teen Paige Rawl's coming-of-age memoir _Positive_ as well as Tim Howard's _New York Times_ bestseller _The Keeper_. She is a member of New England Science Writers and has written for _The__Boston GlobeMagazine_, _Martha Stewart's Whole Living_, and Sesame Street. She lives in Massachusetts.
