### Author Biography

Mary Lyn Ray is the author of many picture books for children. Her texts are often praised for their lyricism and emotional depth, and in her works, she frequently focuses on humankind's relationship with nature. Among her critically acclaimed titles are _Stars_, _Christmas Farm_, _Pumpkins_, _The Thank You Book_, and _Go to Sleep, Little Farm_.

Marla Frazee is the recipient of a Boston Globe-Horn Book Award for Picture Book and atwo-time Caldecott Honor winner. She has illustrated many acclaimed picture books, including _All the World_ by Liz Garton Scanlon, _Stars_ by Mary Lyn Ray, and _Everywhere Babies_ by Susan Meyers, as well as her own Farmer Books trilogy, _A Couple of Boys Have the Best Week Ever_, and _The Boss Baby_, which inspired the DreamWorks Animation film.
