### Author Biography

Susanna Leonard Hill is the award-winning author of nearly a dozen books for children, including _Punxsutawney Phyllis_ (A _Booklist_ Children's Pick and Amelia Bloomer Project choice); _No Sword Fighting in the House_ (a Junior Library Guild selection); _Can't Sleep Without Sheep_ (a Children's Book of the Month); and _Not Yet, Rose_ (a Gold Mom's Choice Award winner). She lives in New York's Mid-Hudson Valley with her husband, children, and two rescue dogs. She loves chocolate, animals, and being outdoors.

Erica Sirotich has illustrated several books for children, and wrote and illustrated the picture book _Found Dogs_. She also creates images and activities for kids' magazines like _Highlights_, _High Five_, and _Highlights Hello_. Her sidekick is her dog, Russell Redfur, who accompanies her as she works in her home studio in St Petersburg, Florida. She loves books, animals, travel, and collecting things like rocks and stamps.
