### Author Biography

**Matthew Continetti** is a senior fellow and the Patrick and Charlene Neal Chair in American Prosperity at the American Enterprise Institute. He is also the founding editor of the _Washington Free Beacon_ and a columnist for _Commentary_ magazine. The author of _The Persecution of Sarah Palin_ and _The K Street Gang_, he lives in Virginia.
