### Author Biography

**David Duchovny** is an award-winning actor, writer, director, _New York Times_ best-selling author, and singer-songwriter. With an acting career spanning more than three decades, Duchovny is a two-time Golden Globe winner and four-time Emmy nominee. He is a prolific author whose fourth novel, _Truly Like Lightning_, was published in February 2021. His previous novels include _Holy Cow_, _Bucky F\*cking Dent_, and _Miss Subways_. As a musician, Duchovny has released three studio albums, _Hell or Highwater_, _Every Third Thought_, and _Gestureland_.
