### Author Biography

DIANE MULDROW is the author of the New York Times bestselling _Everything I Need to Know I Learned From a Little Golden Book_ series, and was the longtime editorial director at Golden Books. She has written dozens of books including _We Planted a Tree_, a 2010 Chicago Public Library Best of the Best selection, and a Bank Street Best Children's Book of the Year.

SUE DICICCO is a prolific children's book illustrator as well as a sculptor. Born in Southern California, she attended Cal Arts, then worked for Disney and other studios as an animator before opening her own studio. She illustrated _The Poky Little Puppy's Wonderful Winter Day_ Little Golden Book, as well as Random House's Step Into Reading titles _The Poky Little Puppy_, _The Shy Little Kitten_, _Tootle_, _Scuffy the Tugboat_, and _The Little Red Caboose_.
