**Robert Cox** has had jobs in radio copywriting, children's books, travel films, TV sitcoms, BBC writing/broadcasting, and running a school bookselling business that combined creative workshops during school visits. He has written three novels and produced a series of films for schools featuring six famous children's authors ('Children's Authors TV'). _The Platypus Who Couldn't Swim_ is his fifth picture book with Jim Robbins.
