Joan Holub has authored and/or illustrated over 140 children's books, including the Goddess Girls series, the Heroes in Training series, the _New York Times_ bestselling picture book _Mighty Dads_ (illustrated by James Dean), and _Little Red Writing_ (illustrated by Melissa Sweet). She lives in North Carolina and is online at JoanHolub.com.

Dani Jones is an artist and a writer. She went to Brigham Young University-Idaho and now lives in New Hampshire, where she works drawing for children's books, comics, apps, and magazines. When she is not drawing, she is usually making a pie.
