### Author Biography

**Dianne Hofmeyr** grew up on the tip of southern Africa. Her acclaimed picture books are translated into more than 18 languages and include _The Magic Bojabi Tree_ (illustrated by Piet Grobler), nominated for the Kate Greenaway Award, _Zeraffa Giraffa_ (illustrated by Jane Ray) which is on the _Sunday Times_' Top 100 children's classics list, M_y Daddy is a Silly Monkey_ (with Carol Thompson) published by Otter-Barry Books and nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal, and _Tiger Walk_, with Jesse Hodgson. Her most recent book is _Storm Dragon_ (with Carol Thompson). She lives in London.

**Simona Mulazzani** is one of Italy's leading children's book illustrators, winner of the Society of Illustrators silver medal, the Italian Andersen Prize and the Emanuele Luzzati Illustration prize. She has illustrated over 90 books including _The Home Builders_ and _Tree of Wonder_. She lives in Pesaro, Italy.
