### Author Biography

**Mike Bender** is the _New York Times_ bestselling coauthor of _Awkward Family Photos_ with Doug Chernack. He is a professional screenwriter whose credits include _Not Another Teen Movie_ and the MTV Movie Awards. He co-created the hit website AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com in 2009 after seeing an awkward vacation photo hanging in his parents' house. He lives in Los Angeles with his family.

**Diana Mayo** is an illustrator based in London with more than 20 children's books to her credit. She earned a degree in graphic design and illustration from Kingston University.
