Christine Barber is an award-winning journalist as well as a certified emergency medical technician and firefighter. She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has worked as an editor at the _Santa Fe New Mexican_ and a writer for the _Albuquerque Journal_ and _Gallup Independent._ She is the author of _The Replacement Child_.
