### Author Biography

**Mark Batterson** is the _New York Times_ bestselling author of seventeen books for adults, including _Whisper, Chase the Lion_, and _Double Blessing_, as well as several books for children, including _God Speaks in Whispers._ He is the lead pastor of National Community Church in Washington, D.C. One church in seven locations, NCC owns and operates Ebenezers Coffeehouse, The Miracle Theatre, and the DC Dream Center. Mark holds a doctor of ministry degree from Regent University. He and his wife, Lora, have three children and live on Capitol Hill.

**Summer Batterson Dailey** is a recent graduate of Southeastern University and is working as a social worker in Washington, D.C. She previously collaborated with her dad on the children's book _God Speaks in Whispers._

**Benedetta Capriotti**, who also collaborated with the Battersons on _God Speaks in Whispers_, attended a professional school of fashion and technical drawing before joining the illustration class at the International School of Comics in Rome.
