**Allan Wolf** is the author of many award-winning books for children and teens, including _No Buddy Like a Book_, _The Day the Universe Exploded My Head_, _The Blood-Hungry Spleen and Other Poems About Our Parts_, and _Behold Our Magical Garden_. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina.

**Lauren Tobia** is the author-illustrator of _Oscar's Tower of Flowers_ as well as the illustrator of several books for children, including the Anna Hibiscus books by Atinuke, _Baby's Got the Blues_ by Carol Diggory Shields, _Happy in Our Skin_ by Fran Manushkin, and _Are You Sure, Mother Bear?_ by Amy Hest. Lauren Tobia lives in Bristol, England.
