**Christopher Finch** was the author of many books about art in America, including _Chuck Close: Work_, _Chuck Close: Life_, _Norman Rockwell's America_, and _Jim Henson: The Works_.

At 88 years old, Disney legend **Floyd Norman** (animator, storyman, and beloved "troublemaker") is the picture of perseverance in the animation industry. As the first African American animator at Disney, arriving in 1956, Floyd worked on classics like _Sleeping Beauty_, _One Hundred and One Dalmatians_, _Mary Poppins_, and _The Jungle Book_. On the latter title, Floyd was handpicked by Walt Disney to join the story team. Impressed?
