### Author Biography

**Michelle Tea** is the author of several books, including the novels _Black Wave_, _Rose of No Man's Land_, and _Mermaid in Chelsea Creek_; the children's book _Astro Babies_; and the nonfiction books _Against Memoir_ and _How to Grow Up_. A prolific literary organizer in queer and feminist communities, she founded RADAR Productions and Drag Queen Story Hour. Tea is the curator of the Amethyst Editions imprint at the Feminist Press. She lives in Los Angeles.

**Ellis van der Does** is a Dutch illustrator and animator based in London.
