**Marnie Hane**l and **Jen Stevenson** are the authors of _The Campout Cookbook_ and _The Picnic_, winner of the 2016 IACP Award for Best General Cookbook. Hanel is a journalist who has written about the wild, wonderful ways we live for _The New York Times Magazine_, _Food & Wine_, and _Vanity__Fair_. Stevenson eats and tells on her Portland food blog _Under the Table with Jen_, and is the author of _Portland's 100 Best Places to Stuff Your Faces_. They both live in Portland, Oregon.
