### Author Biography

**Guadalupe Nettel** is the author of four international-award winning novels: _El huésped_, _The Body Where I was Born_, _After the Winter,_ and _Still Born_; and three collections of short stories. Her work has been translated into more than ten languages and has appeared in publications such as the _New York Times_, _Granta_, _The White Review_, and many others. She currently lives in Mexico City where she's the director of the magazine _Revista de la Universidad de México_.
