### Author Biography

Mark Oshiro is the award-winning author of _Anger is a Gift_ (2019 Schneider Family Book Award) and _Each of Us a Desert_, both from Tor Teen. Their middle grade debut, _The Insiders_, is out in September 2021. Mark also contributed to the anthology _Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back_. When not writing, they write the online Mark Does Stuff universe and are trying to pet every dog in the world.
