### Author Biography

**Olugbemisola Rhuday-Perkovich** is the author of _8th Grade Superzero_, a Notable Book for a Global Society, as well as a Notable Social Studies Trade Book for Young People. She is a co-author of the NAACP Image Award nominated _Two Naomis_ and the forthcoming _Naomis Too_ and is the editor of _The Hero Next Door_, an anthology from We Need Diverse Books_._
