**N. GRIFFIN** is the author of the Smashie McPerter series, as well as _The Whole Stupid Way We Are_, for which she was named a _Publishers Weekly_ Flying Start author. Her other books include _Just Wreck It All_ and _Trigger_. She received her MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts.

**Kate Hindley** has illustrated many books for children, including _Worst in Show_ by William Bee. She lives in Worcestershire, England.
