### Author Biography

**Pat Mills**'s writing and editorial career started in Dundee, working for D.C. Thomson on the teenage romance magazine _Romeo_. Later Pat went freelance and started a long relationship with IPC Magazines, initially writing for girl's titles like _Tammy_, _Pink_ and _Sandy_. He was an assistant editor on _Tammy_, the publication which began the comic revolution. Then, with Malcolm Shaw, he did some preliminary work devising _Jinty_ before moving over to rejuvenate boy's comics. He created _Battle_ (with John Wagner), _Action_, _Misty_ and _2000 AD_ (featuring _Judge Dredd_). Other notable works include _Marshal Law_, _Third World War_ in _Crisis_, the title series for _Doctor Who Weekly_ and _Requiem Vampire Knight_. He has also recently written several books including _Be Pure! Be Vigilant! Behave!,_ a history of _2000 AD_ and _Serial Killer_ with artist Kevin O' Neill, a darkly comedic thriller.

Leonardo Manco hails from Argentine but has drawn comics for companies all over the world, including _Hellblazer_ with Andy Diggle for DC Comics, Clive Barker's _Hellraiser,_ and _Wolverine_ and _The Avengers_ for Marvel Comics.
