### Author Biography

Stanislas Dehaene is Chair of Experimental Cognitive Psychology at the Coll鑒e de France and Director of NeuroSpin, France's advanced brain imaging research center. He is the author of _The Number Sense_, _Reading in the Brain_, _Consciousness and the Brain_, and _How We Learn_. Together his books have been translated into more than fifteen languages.
