### Author Biography

Keith L. Bildstein is Sarkis Acopian Director of Conservation Science at the Acopian Center for Conservation Learning, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. He is the author of _Raptors_, _Migrating Raptors of the World_, and _White Ibis_, and coauthor of _The Raptor Migration Watch-Site Manual_ and _Raptor Watch_, and coeditor of many books, including most recently _The State of North America's Birds of Prey._
