### Author Biography

**Annette Bay Pimentel** has published several picture book biographies, including _All the Way to the Top_; _Girl Running_, which was a Junior Library Guild pick and received a starred review; and _Mountain Chef_, winner of the Carter G. Woodson Award. She lives in Moscow, Idaho. **Magaly Morales** is the illustrator of _What Can You Do with a Paleta?_, a Tomás Rivera Mexican American Children's Book Award winner, as well as the picture books _Chavela and the Magic Bubble_ and _A Piñata in a Pine Tree_. She was born in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico.
