### Author Biography

Barb Rosenstock is the author of many picture book biographies, including _Blue Grass Boy: The Story of Bill Monroe, Father of Bluegrass Music_; _Thomas Jefferson Builds a Library_; _Dorothea's Eyes_; _Ben Franklin's Big Splash;_ and _The Streak: How Joe DiMaggio Became America's Hero_. Her picture book on Vasily Kandinsky, _The Noisy Paint Box_, won the 2015 Caldecott Honor Medal.
